Master Classes

Laurence Albert studied the art of interpretation with artists such as Hans Hotter, Walter Berry, Elly Ameling, Irmgard Seefried, Gérard Souzay, Erik Werba, John Wustman, Serge Zapolsky, Wendell Whalum, Sylvia Olden Lee, and Janine Reiss. Having benefitted from coaching and studying with some of the world's greatest artists, Laurence Albert shares what he has learned by passionately giving Master Classes throughout Europe and the United States for young singers.  His goal?  To encourage and to embolden young singers. To nourish their love and appreciation of, and also to give new direction and scope to their concept of interpretation and performance of the baroque, classical, romantic, and early twentieth century classical vocal repertoire.  His Master Classes are highly successful; and both his private students and the students who work with him in the Master Class setting, are making names for themselves internationally - not only as fine interpreters, but also as bold, provocative, profound 21st century lyric artists!
